Description
The spring and fall migration of Canada Geese are so much a part of my world. In the summer, it is observing both parents as they raise their families with such diligent attention to the lessons needed to survive. To note the sense of community within the flocks is a remarkable study in behavior. In the late summer, the flight training of the new awkward offspring can be quite entertaining to watch. But, it is when the seasons change and the "V" shapes point south in the autumn skies that I too feel a little tug to prepare for the coming cold blustery weather!
