Spring weather brings rain and puddles and memories of taking the long way home so I could wade through rivulets of water meandering down to lower levels in the ditches. Oh how I recall being in so much trouble for showing up late and sporting two soaking wet feet. Now, I encourage my grandchildren to get out and play in the rain and am quite willing to take all the blame!
As a girl, my artistic creativity was awakened by an art teacher in high school. I learned at a young age to see the world in color, shapes and reflective light and so went on my way for many years as an astute observer of life in those terms. I later fell in love with watercolors and the joy of playing with pigment and water.
